Brendan Lee

Master of Fine Art

My work envisions fantastical realties and architectural forms and is situated in a creative practice focused primarily through drawing, digital modelling and video production. The research draws upon the crystalline object that was expressed in early twentieth century utopian theories. My projects explore the affective qualities of physical and digital space virtuality embodied in art processes that remark the abstraction of the body. Reiterating utopian precedents, the digital projection proposes a fantastical existence within an imagined crystalline reality.
