Painting with sound, I create psychoacoustic landscapes that act as an archive for information and feeling. By melting together canonical musical expressions and personal experience, the intersubjective rubble of the unconscious emerges. Meaning is distorted and amplified through music, computational intervention, contaminated liquids and abstracted organic materials that oscillate between classical, almost recognisable, modes of operatic expression and pure noise. A reprieve from submersion and fate, constructing and inhabiting this emotional archaeology of the work is a means to enchant time and find worth, excavate emotions and engage with cultural dialogues that nurture loving relationships.
