LuLu Smith

Bachelor of Fine Arts (Painting)

In this body of work inspired by Ellsworth Kelly and Edward Hopper, I explore my relationship with light and colour. I explore the reflection of space in a domestic relationship, home. I do this by observing and documenting the light that comes from the world outside to a world inside, highlighting the intimacy of longing.

I challenge the observer to find both form and abstraction in these liminal works.
