As a maker, I create sculptural and performative outcomes to highlight moments of collaboration and exchange. Rather than attempting to provide answers, my process-driven practice engages with ideas around learning and the unknown. Currently, I am looking at the trope of the Victorian era spiritual medium as a site for cross-dimensional exchange and performance. Thinking of artmaking as analogous to ectoplasm—the materialised substance produced from the body of the medium during the séance—my work is full of contradictions and uncertainty.
