Thomas Solomon Kuiper
I am a being who is composed of living beings that I am not. Having been made aware of this, I tried desperately to expunge these others. Preliminary attempts involved verbal coercion; however, after difficulties in direct linguistic translation, I progressed instead to physical persuasion. Their frayed edges could not be handled with force and so instead these others were lured with gentle caresses. Recognising this proximity as pleasant, I grew inure to their strangeness and rather than remove what was fixed, I write half poems for the others to complete. These lessons were taught to me by my cat Chopper, so in a way he is the real artist.
