From playfully insightful to gravely sincere; from installations to painting, printing, performance art and drawing. My art practice is varied, yet infused with my quest to illuminate the hidden, speak the unspoken, refresh the forgotten and forge the future. I have recently become preoccupied with reclaiming the home as a positive space: a place that enables adventure. Home is where adventures are dreamed up, planned and remembered. Some adventures even occur within its walls. The attentive reflection, longing, nearness and distance, vibrancy and joy are largely expressed through the application of glorious paint. My body of work reflects both my contemplative and mischievous inclinations, showcasing my first and enduring loves of painting and drawing along with my ardent forays into the many media of contemporary art.
